Suriname Pass Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 01/07/2025
At Suriname Pass, we strive to offer you a flexible and transparent experience. Because we work with various local partners, we have a flexible cancellation policy that may differ per service provider. Flexible approach
Suriname Pass acts as an intermediary platform between you and local service providers, such as tour operators, accommodations, car rental companies and other providers. Each partner has drawn up its own cancellation policy, tailored to the nature of the service and the associated costs. This is necessary because many partners already incur costs before the service is actually performed, such as reservations, preparation, purchasing of materials and deployment of staff. This means that it is not always possible to cancel free of charge, even if the service has not yet started.
Specific policy per service
• Each service provider determines its own conditions for cancellation, changes or
(partial) refund.
• The applicable cancellation policy for your booking can always be found in your booking overview on our platform or in your confirmation email.
• It is your responsibility to carefully read these conditions in advance.
How does cancellation work?
1. Request online: You can request your cancellation completely online and automatically via your personal booking overview in your Suriname Pass account.
2. No direct contact required: You do not need to contact our customer service; the process runs entirely through our platform. 3. Response time: We aim to respond to your cancellation request within 24 hours together with our partners. 4. Assessment: Our fulfilling partner will assess your request based on the applicable cancellation policy. 5. Confirmation: You will receive a digital confirmation of the cancellation and any refund information. No universal right to free cancellation Due to different fee structures, our partners have different payment structures and therefore there is no general right to free cancellation. In some cases, (partial) costs may be charged, even if the service has not yet started. Force Majeure In the event of force majeure (for example extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics or government restrictions), different arrangements may apply. The specific approach to force majeure is determined per service provider and can be found in your booking overview. Questions Should you have any questions about your specific cancellation policy after reading your booking overview, you can of course always contact our customer service team via our platform. We are happy to assist you. By booking a service through Suriname Pass, you declare that you have read, understood and agreed to this Cancellation Policy.
